The obverse of the coin features Vytis, the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, against the background of the Bridge of Queen Louise in Tilsit. By artistic means the composition conveys the efforts of Vydūnas to join Lithuania Major and Lithuania Minor. At the top of the coin – the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) and the date of issue (2018), on the bottom – the coin denomination (€20) and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.

Reverse

The reverse of the coin features Vydūnas (real name Vilhelmas Storosta, 1868–1953) – writer, philosopher and a society figure of Prussian Lithuania, or Lithuania Minor.
